Moving to Danley has been a fabulous decision. The downtown Bryn Mawr location is convenient and we love the sunny, open floor plan–it’s perfect for entertaining friends and family! As empty nesters, we sought out the “lock and leave” lifestyle that Danley provides and the walkable urban-suburban neighborhood provides plenty of dining, entertainment and fitness options. Of course, when we were considering buying here, we were also impressed with the resale performance of the recently built communities nearby–so we felt that Danley will be a good investment as well. Simply put, it checked all of our boxes!

Moving here from Center City, we liked Danley for many reasons — from the convenient Bryn Mawr location and the livable floor plan to the safe and quiet neighborhood. The environment here seemed perfect for raising our twins during some of their most formative years. There are lots of nearby parks and plenty of places we can walk to on tree-lined streets without too much traffic. The families here are diverse in many ways, but everyone is welcoming and looking to make new friends. We love the spacious rooms, modern appliances and sensible monthly fees. At this time in our lives, Danley is a great place to live.

When we were ready to downsize from our large family home in Haverford, we looked at several other options but kept comparing them to Danley. At Danley, we love the proximity to Bryn Mawr. It’s an easy walk to many interesting destinations –lots of restaurants, unique shops, the library, and Bryn Mawr Film Institute. Our kids can take the train to come visit us and, because we have an elevator, so can my mother, who isn’t able to climb stairs. Having the hospital nearby has been a wonderful asset for us in many ways. And, we enjoy the fact that we can lock and leave our Danley home without any worries!

We moved down from Boston for new jobs: Ashton’s with a center city law firm and Alan’s with a financial services company in West Chester. Bryn Mawr is convenient for both of us to get to work –and since Ashton takes the train to Philadelphia, we only need one car. We were used to city living and weren’t quite ready for suburbia, so Danley is a great compromise. We’re able to walk to numerous nearby parks, shops and restaurants – even to our son’s day care. Compared to a center city home, the quality, design, price and location made Danley a great value – not to mention the affordable property taxes and reasonable HOA fees. And did I mention the great closets?

“Actually, moving to Danley was sort of a fluke. We had discussed downsizing but hadn’t really started looking at the alternatives. One day we decided to take a peek at Danley, just out of curiosity. We instantly felt we could move right in… and so we did. We bought the model home. Now we’re livin’ the life! We love that there’s always a new place to visit – without using the car. There are dozens of restaurants and stores within a few blocks and we routinely jump on the train and go into town for a show or concert. We also love that the home is new, well built and basically maintenance free. The elevator reminds us of a Paris hotel – and without all the chores we used to do, we feel like we’re on a constant vacation.”

As a neighbor I saw how the Whitehall townhouse project became a tasteful, transformative addition to the adjacent neighborhood. I believe Danley will do the same for the west side of the hospital and will further enhance the streetscape. Bryn Mawr is really on the rise with so many exciting new investments, including Danley, which will be a true asset that adds value and beauty to the community.

Living nearby the Danley project, I am thrilled to see the community come to life. The scale and architecture of the new homes blend well with the charming existing homes in our neighborhood. And as a Realtor, I can appreciate how the location, design and quality of the homes will enhance the desirability of living in Bryn Mawr.

Working with Sarah when she ran her former company was a pleasure. We had a wonderful experience buying and building our home at Whitehorse. Her attention to every detail is remarkable. The homes are so well designed, well built and liveable…. we still love living here even after these many years. As far as we’re concerned, any project Sarah is leading will be a winner and we’re happy to testify to our wonderful experience buying, building and living in one of her communities!
